From here, the trail climbs toward Chhomrong at approximately 2,170\nmeters (7,119 feet). This means trekkers gain about 390 meters in elevation.\nThe climb is not only about the numbers. Stone steps and uphill sections can\nmake the walk feel harder, especially after several days of trekking."}},{"id":"131LmbB1MX","type":"paragraph","data":{"text":"Chhomrong is an important point on the Annapurna Base Camp\nroute. At 2,170 meters, it is one of the larger settlements encountered before\nentering the deeper parts of the Annapurna Sanctuary. For\nmany trekkers, reaching Chhomrong feels like passing through a natural gateway\ninto the higher mountain landscape."}},{"id":"8NguACsSCr","type":"paragraph","data":{"text":"After Chhomrong, the trail continues toward Bamboo. The\nelevation at Bamboo is around 2,380 meters (7,808 feet). The gain from\nChhomrong is about 210 meters, making the total rise from Jhinu Danda to Bamboo\napproximately 600 meters.
