The Everest View Trek is a short trekking alternative in the Everest region. It offers stunning views of the world's highest mountain Mt. Everest (8,848 m) along with views of other Himalayan peaks such as Mt. Lhotse (8,414m), Mt. Nuptse (7,861m), Mt. Pumori (7,165m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,856 m) among others. This trek is ideal for people who have limited time but still would like to see all that Nepal has to offer. The trek provides an opportunity to explore the lifestyle, culture, and tradition of legendary Sherpas, and to view the ancient Buddhist monasteries all the while surrounded by beautiful and rare flora and fauna of the Sagarmatha National Park.
A short 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla is an exciting adventure in itself,from Lukla the journey begins with a walk by many Sherpa villages dotted along the gorge of the Dudh Koshi River. The views of beautiful agricultural landscapes, suspension bridges are all laid out before reaching Phakding (2,652m). The trail further leads to the gateway of Everest Namche Bazaar (3,440 m). This bustling village is the epicenter of Sherpa life and economy.
You travel on through beautiful forests of rhododendron and pine before reaching Tengboche the last point of our journey (3,860 m). The village contains the Tengboche Monastery, one of the biggest monasteries and leading Buddhist centers in the Everest region. This monastery rests on a high ridge across the gorge from Khunde village, with the amazing backdrop of Mt. Ama Dablam (6,856m). The panoramic views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), along with the south face of Mt. Lhotse (8,414 m) from the monastery are stunning.
After spending the night we retrace our steps to Lulka for our flight back to Kathmandu.
Everest Panorama View Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Day 1 Arrival In Kathmandu, Transfer To Hotel And Orientation. O/N At Hotel
You will find one of our team representatives waiting for you at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). They will escort you to the hotel in a private tourist bus. In the evening, you will meet with your guide and have a traditional welcome dinner.
Day 2: Day 2 Flight To Lukla (2,840m) – Trek To Phakding (2610m) After 3 – 4 H Gentle Walking. O/N At Phakding
Today, you will take a short flight to Lukla from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). The flight will present you with stunning views of hills and snow-capped mountains. After reaching Lukla, you will begin your trek to Phakding. Please remember to put all the items you want access to through the day in your daypack as your luggage will be taken ahead with the porter. You will begin the descent to reach Chheplung Village. From here, you will get to see beautiful Mt. Khumbila (5,761 m) and continue descending until you reach Phakding.
Day 3: Day 3 Trek Namche Bazaar (3,440m) Walking 5 Hours, O/N At Namche
You will begin your trek traversing beautiful pine forest following the trail to the north to reach Monjo. It is the entrance Sagarmatha National Park and our guide will take care of the permits to enter the park. Further, you will cross a suspension bridge decorated with colorful prayer flags and pass Jorsalle village. Walking along the Dudh Koshi River and Bhote Koshi River, you will ascend and finally reach Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is the chief town of the Khumbu region and also one of the largest residence areas of the legendary Sherpas.
Day 4: Day 4 Acclimatizing Day At Namche Bazaar (3,440m) O/N At Namche
Today is your rest day at Namche Bazaar to get acclimatized with the increasing elevation. You will walk towards Syangboche Airport and then visit Khunde Hillary Hospital and Khumjung Monastery in Khunde and Khumjung villages. Then we will return back and descend down towards Everest View Hotel. The stunning views of Mt. Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Ama Dablam (6856m) and other mountains can be seen here. Then you will return back to Namche and visit the famous Sherpa Culture Museum to explore the Sherpa culture and traditions showcased in the museum.
Day 5: Day 5 Trek To Tengboche (3,860m) Walking Around 6 Hours. O/N At Tengboche
You will descend to Dudh Koshi River and cross through beautiful small villages to Phunke Tenga. Passing through the pine and fir forest, you will ascend and reach Tengboche. Tengboche is famous for being the largest monastery in the Khumbu Region. You will get to see breath-taking views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6856 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,414 m) and other mountains.
Day 6: Day 6 Trek To Namche (3,440m) Walking Around 6 Hours, O/N At Namche
After enjoying the outstanding views of snow-capped peaks and lovely landscapes, you will trek back to Namche Bazaar. The trail will descend through small villages and pine and fir forests. Regardless of going back on the same trail, your perspective is different, which is always refreshing. You will stay overnight at Namche Bazaar.
Day 7: Day 7 Trek To Lukla (2,600m) Walking Around 7 Hours, O/N At Tea House
After having a warm, hearty breakfast, you will begin your trek back to Lukla. The trail will descend with few smaller ascents passing through pine and rhododendron forests. You will pass by a number of small villages and an airy suspension bridge. Trekking with the last views of gorgeous mountains including Mt. Khumbila (5,761 m), you will reach Lukla.
Day 8: Day 8 Fly To Kathmandu After Breakfast We Fly In About 40 Minutes From Lukla To Kathmandu .O/N At Hotel.
You will fly back to Kathmandu today. The flight will present you breath-taking views of snow-capped mountains and hills. After reaching Kathmandu, you will be escorted to your hotel. After some rest in the hotel, you can roam the streets of Thamel and buy some handicrafts to remember your beautiful trek.
Day 9: Day 9 After Breakfast Depending On Your Schedule Transfer To International Airport
One of the representatives will drop you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport a 3 hours before the scheduled flight.

An Unforgettable Annapurna Base Camp Experience!
We had an absolutely incredible experience trekking to Annapurna Base Camp with Nepal Social Treks and Expedition, and we cannot recommend them highly enough! From beginning to end, everything was exceptionally well organized, but what truly made this adventure unforgettable was our amazing team: our guide, Achut Pandey, and our two porters, Niran and Thirtna. Achut was an outstanding guide. He was knowledgeable, professional, patient, kind, and always attentive to how everyone was feeling. Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp can be challenging, and having someone we trusted completely made such a difference. Trekking Everest Base Camp
I booked the Everest Base Camp trek with this agency, and from the very beginning they were always available to answer any questions or doubts I had. Everything was extremely well organized from start to finish, my guide was fantastic, and we were lucky enough to have perfect weather throughout the trek. It was an absolutely amazing experience, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Can’t wait to come back for another trekking ☺️ Highly recommended!
I booked the 5 day Around Kathmandu Valley tour for my family which was a great experience. Bhim was our tour guide and Deepak drove us around for the five days. The tour went very smoothly and didn't feel rushed at all. Since we went in the tourism off-season, all the stupas, temples, and UNESCO sites weren't very busy. We were able to finish the day's content by 4pm each day, giving plenty of time to rest for the next day. Bhim was very knowledgeable about each site, Nepali history, and was very receptive to our questions on Nepali culture. The hotels for this tour were also great. In particular, "hotel view point" in Nagarkot had a fantastic 360 view, as it actually is at the top of Nagarkot rather than a lot of other hotels down on the slopes. The view was incredible and we got to see some of the Himalayas, which we considered fairly lucky as we went during the cloudy, foggy monsoon season. Nepal Social Treks took complete care of everything from airport pick up to the hotels, and this was just an absolutely no-stress vacation to do some light cultural exploration of Nepal. Overall, would strongly recommend this tour and Nepal Social Treks!
I booked my trip through Nepalviaje (website in spanish) and from the first moment everything was perfect. Starting with Fernando that was answering really fast all our questions, when we arrive to Kathmandu the person waiting for us in the airport was absolutely fantastic, he wait over and hour for us cause it tooks a while to get out of the airport, the hotel for the first and last night is absolutely brilliant, when you arrive to the Office everything is super clear and they make you feel at home. The Trek is a experience of a lifetime, our guide Lhakpa IS the best guide ever and will not only guide you all the way to the base camp but show you things about culture and take care about every single details, lodges are always fantastic with a huge variaty of food. We made it with other girl and all of us reach EBC, Lhakpa will give you all the good advices to make it and the company will take care of everything, even the last day Basu(the manager of the company) call us to provide a helicopter service to come back to Kathmandu as the weather in Lukla was mean to be bad for a couple of days. 10/10 for this company and all the people involve on it
I completed the Everest Base Camp trek starting from Jiri, and it was simply an unforgettable experience. A long and authentic journey, away from the usual routes, that allowed me to experience Nepal in a deep and genuine way. From the very first day, the agency was fantastic: excellent organization, great support, and constant availability. I always felt well taken care of and never had to worry about anything. A truly special thanks to Anchal Magar, who was an outstanding guide in every sense. (A real friend) Always present, attentive, and highly professional, he showed great sensitivity in understanding my needs, adapting the pace and itinerary with care and intelligence. In the most challenging moments, he was a fundamental point of reference, providing reassurance and confidence. Beyond his skills, what stood out the most was his humanity, kindness, and dedication, rare qualities that made this experience even more meaningful. An experience I will carry with me forever!
