Sarangkot Hiking is one of the tremendous hiking in Nepal which begins from Pokhara Fewa lakeside. It is most of the trail uphill till Sarangkot viewpoint which will make you able to see breathtaking, outstanding, magnificent views from the top. Mountains range like Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail), Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Himchuli, etc are seen from the viewpoint. Sarangkot Hiking is one of the best hiking ascending around 4 hours from the beautiful Pokhara city then relaxing viewing the Pokhara valley and Annapurna mountain views. Pokhara is a beautiful city that has a better view of sarangkot and Fewa Lake. When ascend up must walk through typical village Nepali people living places. They grow varieties crops and vegetables. You can spend the night then next morning watch sunrise view then back on walk or by vehicle to Pokhara. Of course, if you spend a day or a night there you will fully enjoy the view and get refreshed from the regular schedule. Sarangkot Hiking is one of the best Mountain View trekking from where you can see Mt Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri range, Manaslu range as well as a good sunrise view too.
The hiking starts early morning and you will be picked from the hotel lobby after breakfast. You will reach Sarangkot hill in the afternoon. You see Pokhara valley and Fewa Lake as well as magical mountain views because when sunrise and sunset at the time mountain will be a golden color and most of the time they will shine as silver color. Nepal Social Treks was the most professional company I have travelled with. The airport pickup was smooth, followed by a nice stay at their hotel in Kathmandu. I had an incredible experience doing the Manaslu Circuit trek!! As I was the only one who had booked, they paired me with another solo girl from a different company which worked super well. Our guide Nekhil was attentive, supportive and made us feel really safe. He was clearly a very experienced guide and gave us lots of tips to manage the altitude and trekking, plus having lots of fun together along the way! Our porter Chhiring was awesome too! Not only were the views incredible, it felt so nice to be ‘looked after’ and have everything taken care of so we could just enjoy ourselves. This included by the office in Kathmandu, who were so helpful and generous in giving me an extra day in a nearby hotel and lending me some gear. I couldn’t have been happier with the experience! I would definitely recommend :))
