Amazing experience

I had an amazing experience with Nepal Social Trek! Starting with clear communication and well-organized trip planning followed by a warm welcome, we were impressed by the great hospitality we received from everyone. The trip was a real adventure, full of happy emotions and beautiful moments shared together. Our guides, Narayan and Govinda, were extremely skilled and knowledgeable. They were not only excellent guides but also beautiful people from a human point of view. After the trek, Nepal Social Trek also arranged a guided tour of the city of Bhaktapur and its temples for us. I absolutely recommend Nepal Social Trek!

Good experience in Nepal

I did the Chisapani Nagarkot trekk. My guide Kamal was very considerate, landscapes were nice and the hotels and food were good. We also visited Bhaktapur which is nice. I recommend visting Nepal and the Nepal social company.

Langtang Valley Trek

What an epic trip! Nepal Social Treks were brilliant. Seamless organisation from start to finish. They were always friendly and responsive with communication before I came out, were helpful when it came to hiccups with my baggage. And were flexible with my tour, switching from the Tamang to the Langtang trek with no complaints. My guide - Kamal, and porter - Santa, were both excellent. Kamal was super knowledgable, trustworthy, and great company. Santa’s a legend! The accommodation & food were great. The daily trekking: incredible and just the right level of challenging. I could not recommend this trek enough if you’re after something shorter.

Nepal Social Treks were an amazing company who helped me make memories for my life on a climbing attempt of Island Peak December 2023. Even though it was in the off-season and in December, they ensured I had everything necessary to achieve my goal and enjoy my winter trek. They were also very helpful after the trek and I enjoyed my conversations in their Kathmandu office. I'd recommend my friends to go climbing with them any day.

A trip organized by Simina Cernat our guide from România with a very good collaboration with Nepal Social Trecks. This was an experience of a lifetime rafting mountains nature people… We are grateful we had Lakpa to guide us throughout the trecking. Lakpa carefully addressed all our questions and help us understand Nepali culture he was the best guide friendly, kind, patient and felt very taken care of during our 9days trek on the Annapurna Circuit. At 5000m i had a difficult moment, could hardly walk but Lakpa immediately observed that and he helped me succesfully reach to Thorong La pass. 5416m. Also the two porters Nima and Manut were very nice and helpful. The trip itself was well thought through for our needs and expectations. Thank you Lakpa and high-level

What is Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS)? How can it be treated?

Acute mountain sickness is a severe health effect of high altitude caused by your body’s reaction to a shortage of oxygen. The amount of oxygen available at sea level is double that contained at 5000m above the sea level. Your body needs enough time to adjust your breathing to a higher altitude. You normally experience the effect of the high altitude above 2800 meters.

Communication is made possible through satellite phones, so a guide will help you if something critical happens. If you are not well to continue your summit, a helicopter will come to your rescue.
